Groundbreaking for New Berlin Road Elementary for Duval Co. Public Schools
Sept. 1, 2005 - (Jacksonville, Fla.) Duval Co. Public School officials and invited guests broke ground on the New Berlin Road Elementary School in Jacksonville's Oceanway neighborhood on Thurs., Sept. 1 2005. The school is set to open for the 2006-2007 school year.
This $15 million, 788-student elementary school with expanded dining for 1,200 students will feature state-of-the-art teaching and student resources and will serve the rapidly expanding population in North Jacksonville. The architect for this project is John Bottaro of Reynolds, Smith and Hills, and Joe McDade is the project manager for Perry-McCall Construction.
