Perry-McCall to construct St. Johns River Community College Science Consortium
June 30, 2006 - (Jacksonville, Fla.) Perry-McCall was selected to construct the Science Consortium for St. Johns River Community College's Orange Park campus.
This project is one part of four separate science laboratory and teaching facilities to be constructed on college campuses across the state of Florida. This particular Science Consortium has been designed to support a number of science and health-related programs, mainly natural sciences.
Flexibility of design for instructional space was a paramount challenge, as well as the recognition of advancements in utility and ventilation technology to create a building capable of updating as the demands of these technologies change over time. This facility includes modern classrooms and innovative laboratories for the students, as well as offices and work areas for the faculty.
