Daytona Beach College and Halifax Medical Center have partnered with Florida State University to bring a branch campus of its College of Medicine to Daytona Beach. The branch will serve 40 third and fourth year medical students on the DBC campus starting in 2008. The 16,000 sq. ft. building will house the medical school and will also be home to a University Center where DBCC and other colleges will share space to offer college programs. This center will be a convenient way for DBC students and area residents to continue pursuing their education without leaving Daytona Beach.
