Description:
As the first deign/build project for the City of Jacksonville, the East/West Pavilions, or better known as the Jacksonville Maritime Museum and Jacksonville Historical Center, have been a successful example of the design/build method of project delivery. Located at the base of the Main Street Bridge on the St. Johns River, the two enclosed exhibits feature documents, pictures, and artifacts from Jacksonville’s history. The project was completed on time and within budget, to the great delight of the city, and has since encouraged a host of additional design/build projects throughout Jacksonville.
