The Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena is one of the “crown jewels” of the Better Jacksonville Plan (a massive, multi-year, multi-billion dollar improvement plan in which Perry-McCall was awarded three high-profile projects). The joint venture Turner/Perry-McCall/Northside was selected to provide construction management services for the arena. The design includes 1,000 club seats, 28 individual suites, four party suites and a 16,000 seat arena that can be modified to serve numerous other types of community events. Also located at the Sports Complex is the new Veterans Memorial Wall Park. The wall, which showcases the names of more than 1,500 local military personnel who lost their lives while on active duty, has been enhanced with the addition of the two-acre park.
