Perry-McCall constructed this forty-bed acute care nursing home for Penney Retirement Community in Penney Farms, Fla. Construction consisted of concrete masonry and stucco exterior walls, metal stud interior wall framing and a pre-formed barrel tile metal roof. Special attention was given to the installation of ADA items to allow residents the ability to maintain a quality of life. The facility includes all the normal activity centers of an assisted living facility with nursing stations cleverly designed into the floor plan so the “home” appearance is not spoiled. This facility was completed on time and within budget.
