Description:
This project is one part of four separate science laboratory and teaching facilities constructed on college campuses across the state of Florida. This particular Health and Science Building has been designed to support a number of science and health-related programs, mainly natural sciences and nursing programs, and is located at St. John's River Community College's Orange Park campus. Flexibility of design for instructional space was a paramount challenge, as well as the recognition of advancements in utility and ventilation technology to create a building capable of updating as the demands of these technologies change over time. This facility includes modern classrooms and innovative laboratories for the students, as well as offices and work areas for the faculty.
