Description:
This complicated and highly technical renovation was performed within existing facilities at Shands Hospital. The new center included a LINAC Scalpel Unit used for one-time nonsurgical approach for intracranial disorders. Work was performed while other parts of the facility remained in full operation just steps away. Constant communication with the staff at Shands regarding our "look ahead" schedule allowed for sufficient coordination of special equipment installation and rapid completion of the project. As a result, this project was completed on time and within budget.
