Description:
This historic facility serves as Jacksonville’s City Hall, and provides office and meeting space for many of Jacksonville’s public works departments. The project required a complete restoration, including updating the facility to present day codes which included ADA requirements. The new design included a complete gutting of the interior walls and restoring the unique existing details within the building. An exhaustive effort was made to match the original marble interior and stone exterior façade. Strict attention to detail was required to maintain control of project cost and schedule. As a result, the project was completed ahead of schedule and within budget.
