Description:
The University of South Florida's Parking Garage III at the university's main campus in Tampa, Fla. is part of the university's master development plan to increase parking and continue building a Premier Research University. Construction of the six-story pre-stressed, precast concrete parking garage, containing 1,500 spaces and related site, utility, and roadwork, took place on an active campus across multiple semesters and required careful planning to ensure everyday activities of the college and the flow of traffic were not disrupted. This project was designed to serve the Health Sciences and Interdisciplinary areas on the northwest and north central sides of campus.
