EMBRY-RIDDLE AERONAUTICAL UNIVERSITY – COLLEGE OF BUSINESS

PROJECT INFORMATION:
Project: Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University – College of Business
Location: Daytona Beach, Florida
Owner: Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
Construction Cost: $12.1 Million
Project Size: 58,600 SF
Completion: January 2008

The College of Business contains faculty and administrative offices; wireless, energy-efficient classrooms; seminar and conference rooms; computer labs with 90 workstations; graduate research facilities, a Business and Transportation Research Center that includes an Aviation Operations Simulation Lab; a Marketing Focus Group Suite; and a Collaborative Decision- Making Suite. The building houses IT offices and workspace, and was successfully constructed in the heart of the University’s campus.

Perry-McCall worked closely with the design team and ERAU to provide the maximum value for the project. The project team facilitated regular meetings with special interest groups (aviation, maintenance, facilities, and faculty) and documented their wants and desires as they related to the project. By making users a part of the process, we acquired unique insight into major and minor design and construction details that made the building more functional upon completion.
