The Special Procedures Suite at Flagler Hospital (St. Augustine) is located on the second floor of the hospital and overlooks the hospital’s main and emergency department entrances. The suite’s location within the hospital made access a challenge. Working closely with the hospital’s on-site engineering department we developed a construction plan to allow for material deliveries and construction traffic (foot and vehicular) to occur without interrupting hospital operations.

The project consisted of modification of the existing partitions, which included repair to the lead lined drywall at the control room, all new finishes (sheet vinyl flooring, paint, and acoustical ceilings). Also included in the project and the main purpose of the renovation, is a new GE Innova 4100 for interventional radiology.
