Completion: March 2000A New prototype High School designed for a capacity of 1,200 students. The school was designed as a self sustaining facility (does not rely on any services performed off-campus). Features visual art, photography, television, ceramic lab rooms, and a completely automated stage with a stage set high bay and an acoustically correct 500 seat auditorium. Laboratories for biology and chemistry and special studies were included. This facility is located less than three miles from the Atlantic coastline and was designed and constructed to serve a dual purpose as a hurricane shelter.
