Project Size: 342,000 SF
Completion: December 1997

This historic facility serves as City Hall for the City of Jacksonville, Florida, and provides office and meeting space for many of Jacksonville’s public works departments. The project required a complete restoration of the building located in downtown Jacksonville. The restoration updated the facility to present day requirements and codes which included ADA requirements. The new design included a complete gutting of the interior walls and restoring the unique existing details within the building. An exhaustive effort was made to match the original stone and the exterior façade. Strict adherence to detail was required to maintain control of project cost and schedule. As a result, the project was completed ahead of schedule and within budget.
